Jennifer Lee, MD

Nashville TN Dematologist Jennifer Lee Dr. Jennifer Lee is the Medical Director of REN Dermatology. She is a Board-certified Dermatologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, who specializes in the diagnosis and management of skin diseases. She has received her medical training at the nation’s top institutions. Her goal is to provide quality, compassionate and comprehensive medical care, as well as to offer safe and effective Laser treatments and Cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Lee is a native of Maryland and attended University of Maryland on a full merit scholarship. During college, she was a White House Intern, performed research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and received the Sally Sterling Byrd award for the top graduating student in her class.

Dr. Lee is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, during which time she was inducted into the Aesculapian Club. She completed her Dermatology residency at Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan, under the tutelage of internationally-renowned dermatologists including Drs. Henry Lim and Edward Krull.

After completing her residency training, Dr. Lee accepted a faculty position at Harvard Medical School. While in Boston, she was an Attending Dermatologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) where she established the Contact Dermatitis clinic. During this time she was also actively involved with medical student and resident education, and lectured both locally and nationally.

In 2010, Dr. Lee joined the faculty of Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Division of Dermatology. She was the recipient of the 2013 Teacher of the Year Award. She frequently delivers lectures to medical students and residents, as well as to physicians in varying specialties. She has also authored book chapters and journal articles, including Emedicine. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Lee established the first dedicated HIV Dermatology clinic.

As Medical Director of REN Dermatology, Dr. Lee maintains her status as Clinical Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Lee actively volunteers in the community, including with Siloam Family Health Center, Shade Tree clinic, and the Vanderbilt Visions program. She is also a participant with the Harvard and University of Maryland alumni clubs, and established the Tennessee Terp Scholarship to offer financial assistance to Tennessee students attending University of Maryland.
